ABOUT US
Scarlet [he/she]
- Heya! I'm Scarlet, one of the webmasters for the site! I did most of the programming. I'm your friendly neighborhood autistic, and I'm a sapphillean girlboy.
- I was a big fan of Voltron: Legendary Defender while it was still airing! I was in the trenches for all the discourses and controversies. While it was airing, I thought the show's quality decreased after season 3, but I completely stopped watching it after season 7 (for reasons I'm sure you're able to guess, if you're familiar with the show). While I watched Voltron, I was a huge Klance shipper! I remain attached to them to this day (especially their seasons 1-3 portrayal). This attachment became much more prevelant once my partner decided to also watch Voltron (against my warnings). So, here we are!
- I'm anti-Shiro x other Paladins, SUPER anti-crew, and, to be honest, anti-most things past season 3. (Except Kosmo. He can stay.) My favorite Paladin (other than Keith and Lance) is Pidge!
Cobalt [he/him]
- Hiya! I go by Cobalt, and I do most of the writing and editing for this site. I am the whole LGBT all at once and butch plus intersex, as well as autistic. I mention those since they're relevant to how I like to be seen and the way I interpret media and experience the world. I'm also sapphillean like Scarlet. I am spiritual otherkin(d) and I am kin with Lance.
- I never watched Voltron: Legendary Defender when it came out. It was absolutely something that should have interested me, and the reason I avoided it wasn't the fandom, surprisingly. I usually don't like sci-fi or space fantasy, which is why I avoided it. I am watching it for the first time in 2023 and plan to consume as much of its official media as possible, even if it's awful in some cases. I have always been interested in Klance, though! I fell in love with them and am very excited to make this website dedicated to them. I hope to learn a lot about VLD's history, its world's canon, its history as a show/media franchise, and its fandom history.
- I don't like any ships involving Keith and Lance besides with each other, and I don't like Shiro with any Paladins. I oppose the actions and narrative/story choices that the crew working on VLD made. This includes but isn't limited to their treatment of characters of color, queer characters, and their general lack of kindness towards both real people and the fulfillment of their fictional world/characters. I love Keith and Lance the most but still love the rest of the Paladins a lot. I think my favorite character besides them is Coran - he's very underrated and underloved.
